Sourcing raw materials is where everything begins: during this crucial process we consider every detail in order to ensure the optimal quality of our starting materials. Linnea purchases fruits, seeds, leaves, knots and selected oils worldwide. Some materials are widely sourced while others are obtained from our GAP-certified farms.

We strive to maintain a presence on-site and work closely with our selected network of suppliers during every step of the process. Harvesting, selecting, cleaning, sewing, drying, together with environmental and cost-effective logistics are important aspects to us, which we carefully monitor.

For materials collected from many sources, we make sure to personally inspect each cargo and conduct local analytical tests to ensure conformity with our purchase specifications. For materials sourced from farms, we regularly perform audits and check all pesticides and fertilizers used in and out of the fields to avoid unpredictable events such as cross-contamination. Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and full traceability are strictly applied in order to identify every step of the process.

We ensure safety rules as well as compliance with labour standards and international human rights legislations.
